The Fund for Equal Justice, Inc. (FEJ) is a 503(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that was founded in 1965. It is a Buck Dinner partner. Contributions to FEJ qualify as tax deductible; FEJ can provide support only to other 503(c)(3) organizations.
For example, FEJ contributions can support the ACLU and the Maurice and Jane Sugar Law Center, but not the National Lawyers Guild.

FEJ has an independent Board of Directors. While the bulk of contributions to FEJ occur at the Buck Dinner, contributions to FEJ can be made at any time during the calendar year.

On occasion, FEJ has supported causes independently of the Buck Dinner. Recent examples have included:

  • Scholarship funds for Judge Claudia House Morcom,
Jon Posner, Ernie Goodman, Judge Justin Ravitz and
    Ken Cockrel, Sr.

Support the Buck Dinner

Donations made to the Buck Dinner do not have the same restrictions as donations made to the Fund for Equal Justice.

Since most of the organizations that the Buck Dinner supports are not 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, funds are needed for these grants.

If you were not able to attend or donate at the Dinner, you may contribute at any time here.
